I'm Sonia Bartzis, and I'm so glad you're here.

I'm a Chicago wedding planner, but before anything else, I'm someone who loves people. I truly believe a wedding is about so much more than one beautiful day. It's about the families, the traditions, the relationships, and the memories you'll carry with you for years to come. Being invited into such an important season of someone's life is something I'll never take for granted.

That perspective is rooted in my own family. I'm married to my best friend, and we have three wonderful children who remind me every day what truly matters. Our family is a blend of Mexican and Greek heritage, and that has given me a deep appreciation for honoring family traditions while creating new ones together. Those experiences, along with my faith, have shaped the way I care for others and the heart I bring to my work.

Before becoming a wedding planner, I spent 19 years in the corporate world managing complex projects and workflows. Looking back, every one of those experiences prepared me for what I do today. They taught me the value of organization, thoughtful preparation, clear communication, and leading with confidence.

My journey eventually led me to South Florida, where I had the privilege of working alongside one of the region's top wedding planners. During that time, I was part of weddings and events at incredible venues like The Breakers, Vizcaya, The Biltmore, and The Boca Raton. More than anything, those experiences confirmed that this was exactly where I was meant to be.

Today, I'm grateful to be back home in Chicago doing what I love. Whether I'm helping you build the right vendor team, develop a thoughtful planning timeline, coordinate every detail with your vendors, or manage the flow of your wedding day, my goal is always the same: to make sure you feel cared for every step of the way.
