I’m Sonia Bartzis, a Chicago wedding planner known for calm, intentional guidance and full-day wedding support. I specialize in wedding day management, partial and full planning for couples who want clarity, organization, and a beautifully structured planning experience. As a bilingual planner experienced with multicultural weddings, I help ensure every couple and every family feels supported and included from the very beginning.

I’m married to my best friend, and together we’re raising three wonderful children who fill our home with love and laughter. Our family is a blend of Mexican and Greek heritage, and the joy of our everyday life is what continues to shape the heartfelt celebrations I love to create. My faith is what keeps me steady and reminds me of the beauty in every season.

My passion for wedding planning grew from a desire to connect with people and make them feel seen, supported, and celebrated. After 19 years in the corporate world organizing workflows and managing complex projects, I felt called to create experiences that brought people together. That calling became even clearer during my years in South Florida, where I worked closely with one of the region’s top wedding planners. During that time, I played a key role in planning and bringing to life weddings and events at notable venues such as The Breakers, Vizcaya, The Biltmore, and The Boca Raton, experiences that strengthened my love for thoughtful logistics and meaningful celebration.

Returning to Chicago felt like coming home. With over a decade of hospitality experience, my certification through the CWP Society, and bilingual fluency in English and Spanish, I’m grateful to support couples through a planning experience rooted in intention, warm communication, and seamless coordination. Whether assisting multicultural families, guiding planning conversations, or bringing clarity to complex moments, my greatest joy is helping you feel cared for throughout the entire journey.
